The World Offroad: This is the title of the around the world trip in a Land Rover Discovery3 undertaken by a couple from Greece. The concept was to report to different media, magazines, radio stations, TV programmes and blogging on the internet, so that they could make it for living, driving and travelling. The initial concept was about an 800 days trip but in the end, the adventure lasted much longer, about 1177 days. In this period, The World Offroad covered 167.500 km in 67 countries in 5 continents.
Akis Temperidis: An enthusiastic journalist specialised in automobiles, motorcycles and travel. He worked for several car and bike magazines in Greece, has worked for TV & radio stations before he started for an epic trip around the world. Currently he lives with his wife in Tanzania, where they both manage a safari lodge and in the same time he writes the book for their epic adventure.
Vula Netou: A cool ex dancer, choreographer is the most travelled Greek woman today. Now, she manages a luxury safari lodge in Tanzania, the Saadani River Lodge.
