Yesterday, after we received the car from Land Rover SMEIA in Casablanca…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We took our luggage from Rabat and headed to Meknes where we had an overnight at the Camping Internationale, next to the city wall. Today, we left Meknes and drove 30 km. north, to Volubilis, the roman city\u2019s remains, that was pretty interesting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After we parked at Mulay Idriss, and thanks to our guide, Abdullah, we got to know more things about it. Mulay Idriss, was the first sultan of the dynasty that reigns till today Morocco. The mosque and the mausoleum of Mulay Idriss is still closed to non muslims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a fast lunch out of Meknes, we drove southeast to Middle Atlas and at the sunset we arrived at Midelt, a modest city that we had visited 2 years ago during the Lisbon-Dakar rally, with Willy Weyens, but for some after midnight hours, so I remembered nothing of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight we will sleep in the camping muinicipale, after we managed to watch the Champion League final, on a local caf\u00e9\u2019. That\u2019s the reason that this note is written pretty late (after 10 o\u2019clock). From cold Atlas, goodnight everybody! _A.Temperidis<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
