Today we leave Dakar, even if we don\u2019t want to. Read why\u2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Truth is I didn\u2019t want to stay for long in Dakar. But Vula liked it. Now, I don\u2019t want to leave the city, to\u03bf. I felt it more hospitable than ever. Terranga (hospitality) as the locals say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about the weekend here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was cool even if not so relaxing. OK, we had a swimming here in our camping, but mostly drove around. We visited Greek friends, like Savas in Bel Air, we made a city tour yesterday with Diop and Baba, our local friends (and guardians!) and we had a nice dinner yesterday night with Josef, the sympathetic Libanese guy who owns, the \u201cAfricaine del Automobile\u201d, the importing company of Ford and VW in Senegal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dinner was at the glitzy Casino of Dakar with a friend of Josef and an Indian fellow who practices Pranic Healing in West Africa. Nice company, really! So, for one more time, we are sorry to leave the place, feeling that we leave real friends behind. Sincere, helpful and so much different to each other, actually. But as Josef says, \u201ceverybody in Dakar, rich or poor, are the same, we meet each other and go to the same places. There is no\u00a0 circle in Dakar\u201d\u2026 That\u2019s why we like it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
