Today it was an easy but pretty thoughtful day. To be true, we thought more things than we actually did…
Spoken thoughts, actually, mainly regarding our state of mind, or how we have to get used to our brand new lifestyle. Let’s see when we are going to feel like real vagabonders…
Today we woke up late at the wonderful cabin 8000 of the Superfast XI ferry and we had our morning coffee at the rear bar luounge of the ship. There, we met Nikos Anastasatos, a Greek truck driver and great motorcycle fan that got to know about us from the Greek MotoGP magazine. We talked a lot with him and said goodbye as long as the ship arrived to Ancona port. The weather was perfect and the colours of the Italian spring, more vivid than ever. After 45’ drive we arrived at my parents’ condominium at Porto Potenza Picena, about 50 kms. south of Ancona. The rest of the day passed with some shopping at Civitanova’s Cityper Outlet and with some last preparations on the car. At about 8 pm we had a nice dinner at the ristorante Beach Boys, in front of the Adriatic coast, next to our home. For tomorrow, we plan to travel from the Autostrada A14 to Bologna, to the Autostrada del Sole and from Parma to La Spezia, to arrive to the Italian Riviera. We plan to sleep somewhere between San Remo and Monaco, actually. Possible, in our roof tent, for the very first time. Can you imagine this in front of the multimillionaire yachts of Monaco? _Akis Temperidis
